10th Celebration Campaign Kickoff

It is hard to believe that the school year is already coming to a close! As the school year wraps up, The Job Foundation’s 10th Celebration Campaign kicks off. About four weeks ago, The Job Foundation held its first fundraiser gathering in honor of our 10 year anniversary. This event was held at the Brown Bottle in Waterloo with Tara Thomas, Director of School and Community Relations of Waterloo Schools, as the guest speaker. Attendees enjoyed live music, drinks, appetizers and desserts in a fun and uplifting atmosphere.

The result from this fundraiser is truly amazing. As of May 30th, funds raised from the efforts of this campaign totals $29,127.83! Wow! The staff, board, volunteers and students are so grateful for this outpouring of generosity.

September marks the month of our anniversary, so our 10th Celebration Campaign will continue through the end of September. We are close to reaching our goal of $40,000 but we cannot reach it without the support from our community!

There are many people in the Cedar Valley who have not heard of The Job Foundation and we would love to reach out to them. But the most influential resource we have are people like you. Do you know people who may be willing to donate towards The Job Foundation? Do you know people who have a passion for financial stewardship but may not know about The Job Foundation? If your answer to this is yes and you would like to reach out to them, The Job Foundation is here to assist you in any way we can. We have campaign materials and an email template that we can share with you. For this information, please email
